Orchard update:
The recent stand at the village fete generated an amazing amount of interest, both financial support through the 'Sponsor a Tree' initiative, and also volunteers keen to help plant and manage the orchard. Nearly 40% of the trees now have a sponsor! If you would like to support the orchard please get in touch with Stuart Riley through the PC Clerk. Thank you to everyone that has supported the orchard so far!
We are continuing to secure the grants from TVBC and other public/charitable bodies. Hopefully we'll have updates on this in the coming weeks. We are also progressing with the planning of the orchard, with a layout of the trees and a solution to keeping the deer and rabbits at bay coming soon.
